I believe a person must be happy with themselves, before they could contribute happiness to a relationship. I think the reason many relationships fail, is 3 fold- either having unrealistic expectations of their partner And/Or they don’t communicate with each other about what they want and or need. For me, before I invest much time in anyone, I find out if we share core values. My faith is the most important. Traits that come natural for me and I expect in return are honesty, loyalty and trust. If my partner is healthy spiritually then we will get along great. I would never expect someone that I care about to compromise their values nor put me before their relationship with God. I am older and wiser and have learned some very difficult lessons, so I am cautious about who I let in. I hope to meet someone close to my age for companionship and maybe even love. I have bee single about 4 years. I thought it would be super great to meet someone from another country, especially someone who would like to live in the United States. I work full time from home (dream job), following my 30 year as RN I enjoy hiking, nature, and an animal lover- hope to be able to travel someday, but to be honest - every where I have been in the U.S. looks the same- other than natural wonders Perfectly content living modestly, especially in the times we’re living in. |
